CSR Policy Statement

Group Tegula recognises that its business activities can have a significant impact on the social, economic and environmental well-being of our stakeholders (every person or organisation affected by our activities).

We will therefore strive to implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities that will help to improve the environment and contribute to the well-being of our stakeholders and the communities in which we operate.

Our approach to CSR is driven by a collective responsibility combined with openness and accountability, continuous improvement and the need to demonstrate legal and business process compliance.

Our goals require us to have a detailed understanding of how our activities impact stakeholders, the environment and the society we serve and so we will continue to identify, develop and deliver measurable business improvement processes and activities that will help contribute towards positive stakeholder outcomes.

To demonstrate our commitment to CSR we have aligned our business values, vision and strategy with the needs of our stakeholders while implementing and embedding meaningful and ethical principles into everything that we do.

Group Tegula has achieved Level One of the Social Value Certificate.

This means that we have made a commitment to implement systems and processes that are consistent with the Social Value Principles.

These systems and processes will help us to measure, manage and maximise our social value.

We are currently working towards assessment and accreditation against CITB’s Be FaIR Framework.

The Framework is a built environment standard that will help to identify us as a business and employer that pro-actively plans and promotes fairness, inclusion and respect practices on both an internal and external basis.

Mindful Employer is an aid for businesses signing the Charter for Employers who are Positive about Mental Health.

The Charter is a tangible display of commitment to improving the working lives of our staff. Being signatories to the Charter recognises that we are developing and implementing policies and good practices.

Our Environmental Management System (EMS) commits us to providing a quality service in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and minimises our impact on the environment.

We operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and we strive to use best sustainability practice in all we do.
