Earlier this month we shared the news that, thanks to a wave of new projects and opportunities, our team was growing.

Now, in a series of posts, we plan to share a little more about  our new team members; who they are, why they joined Group Tegulua, and what they will be doing.

First up, we’re excited to introduce Joe Swinney, the latest addition to our contracts management team.

About Me:

I’ve been in the construction industry for 7 years as a joiner. I served my time with Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management, where I gained my Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery and Advanced Level 3 Carpentry and Joinery qualifications. I was offered a senior joinery role within the organization after completing my apprenticeship and did this for a short period. I then went self-employed, working away in Edinburgh, as I wanted to progress and enhance my skills and knowledge before returning to Newcastle to work for a construction company.

Why I Joined Group Tegula:

I joined Group Tegula because I felt this role was the next step in my career, and the company’s continuous growth is something I’m looking forward to being a part of.

We’re thrilled to have Joe on board and are excited to see the positive impact he’ll make at Group Tegula!

What I Will Be Doing:

I’ll be taking up the role of a Contracts Manager, which will involve surveying, pricing, and managing projects from inception to completion.
