Group Tegula is thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Tavis Couling, who has joined us as a Contracts Manager.
Let’s hear from Tavis as he shares his background, the reasons behind his decision to join Group Tegula, and the role he will be undertaking:
About Me:
I trained as a quantity surveyor at university and from there I joined a roofing and cladding contractor as a Trainee and worked up to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, which involved estimating, commercially managing, and being involved in the delivery team for building facade works from repairs and refurbishments to commercial rainscreen.
I then joined a small building firm as a Commercial Manager which specialised in private developments, predominantly in the residential sector whilst also redeveloping some listed buildings. After a brief spell as a Quantity Surveyor doing social housing refurbishments, I returned to building envelope works as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Why I Joined Group Tegula:
I joined Group Tegula because of its ambition to continuously improve, it’s got a plan as to how to do it and it’s a project that I’m looking forward to being a part of.
What I Will Be Doing:
I’ll be taking up the role of a Contracts Manager, which will involve surveying, pricing, and managing projects from inception to completion.
