Next in our series of posts celebrating the growth in our team, we’re delighted to introduce Duncan Latimer, who has joined the Group Tegula team as our new Health and Safety and Contracts Co-Ordinator .
Let’s hear from Duncan as he shares his background, his reasons for joining Group Tegula, and the role he’ll be taking on:
About Me:
For the last 20 years, I have worked alongside the NHS, SEND, Local Authorities, and the private sector, delivering healthcare projects involving assistive technology installations that support vulnerable persons, patients, and caregivers. I have specifically worked with Estates/Project Managers, Architects, Designers, and Occupational Health Clinicians. I have also recently qualified for the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and am keen to help support the organisation.
Why I Joined Group Tegula:
I joined Group Tegula because it is a fast-moving, busy, niche industry that offers varying experiences every day. I wanted to be part of a local business that is growing. Group Tegula has a solid reputation for doing the right thing and delivering quality, which aligns perfectly with my personal values.
What I Will Be Doing:
In my role, I will be supporting the busy Contracts team with commercial and health and safety–focused activities. This will involve reviewing safety documentation, conducting survey and inspection onsite visits, and contributing to training and development. It’s great to join a team that is so focused on everyone’s safety, especially within this high-risk sector of construction.
We’re thrilled to welcome Duncan to Group Tegula and look forward to him helping maintain and further develop our already high safety standards!
