Next in our series of posts celebrating the growth in our team, we’re excited to introduce Janet Kell, who has joined the Group Tegula team as our new Payroll and Accounts Assistant.
Let’s hear from Janet as she shares her background, what brought her to Group Tegula, and the role she’ll be undertaking:
About Me:
I have worked in Finance for most of my career and am AAT qualified. The first 25 years, I was working for Black and Decker. since then I have worked for several large manufacturing & logistics companies, always in Finance but also with some HR involvement.
Why I Joined Group Tegula:
I was looking for a role closer to home – my previous role was over in the Team Valley at Gateshead, and with living in Sunderland, the travelling was becoming too much for me each day. When I attended the interview here, the role seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, and I felt straight away that it appeared to be a good environment to work in. The people I met on the day were all so friendly and welcoming.
What I Will Be Doing:
I will be working for Deborah in Finance, doing Payroll, Purchase & Sales Ledger accounts, and anything else she requires to assist her in the day to day running of the department.
We’re thrilled to have Janet on board and look forward to her contributions to the Finance Department and the wider team at Group Tegula!
