One of the benefits of a liquid roofing solution is that it can be installed with minimal disturbance to the surrounding area, allowing business to go on as usual whilst the work is completed

This was one of the reasons Glasgow City Council chose a liquid roofing solution when we refurbished the roofing on the Tollcross International Swimming Centre, a very high-profile and popular facility with the local community.

This project is also a good example of the wider scope Group Tegula take on to support their clients, both in terms of what we do and how we do it.

In addition to replacing the roof, Group Tegula installed a non-slip maintenance walkway on the roof, along with a static line system, as well as updating the building’s lighting protection system.

And because the system was installed as an overlay to the boiler room roof, we had to raise the rooftop plant so that the roof beneath could be completely encapsulated before each item of plant was lowered back into position.
